Cute little Packages....

I guess that with Summer on the way our minds turn to things other that crafts - OK there is Bunting to be made for all those Summer Fetes & Garden Parties - Yep I made up 40 metres to give to my boys school - who are holding a Summer Fete (if the weather ever improves) and added a listing to my E-Bay Shop if you would like to buy some ready-made. I considered for a moment using single sided flags, but knew that in reality these would probably not last a season and definitely not a cycle in the washing machine! So strung on Polka Dot Bias Binding I've used double sided flags measuring 15cm by 20cm - It would definitely fall into the Premium Bunting Category, and with a once season wash will look just as good next year...and the following.....and following......:-)

So bearing in mind that hopefully we are all getting larger doses of Vitamin D, I have put together cute mini packs of 5 pieces of material for any little projects that might take your fancy. I've packaged them up in little celo bags and if I say so myself they look really cute :-) A perfect present for a crafty friend or cutting out Jam Jar Lids for the forthcoming Jam Making Season. They come in colour themes of either Pink, Blue or Red and Green selection and at just £4.00 who can resist!

All the above items are available in my E-Bay shop - just click on the photos to take you to the page.

I'm actually in the midst of a project - actually something for myself :-) Which I will blog about soon. Right off to get my dose of Vitamin D now!

Where does time go???

Goodness Me...if you had asked me to guess how long had gone by since I last updated this blog - I might of said 3 weeks - but over 5! I had a unwritten target where I hoped that I would update on a weekly basis; note to self: must try harder!

So what crafty things have I done over 5 weeks - I made this lovely little make-up bag from a Tutorial I found over at the Needle and Spatula blogspot

All just made with 2 FQ, a little lightweight fusible interfacing, zip and a little piece of thin 7mm gingham ribbon. I filled it with a set of nail files and some glossy pale pink nail varnish :-)

I've also had a delivery of Bias Binding, that I have added to my shop, Gorgeous Floral Patterned, Polka Dot and Plain Brights and Pastels too:

I'm also looking at adding other fabric ranges too and am determined to get another make your own kit out there soon!

Busy Times!
