I thought I would update you on my New Years Resolution, now we are almost a 5th way through the year already! So although I have not brought a shop brought card as such, I do have to confess to purchasing these postcards on a recent trip to IKEA.
In my defence they were only 5p for a pack of 5...Yes, just 1p per postcard...how could I resist! I love the ice-cream van on top of the stack up cars! No use for them yet - but I'm sure I will find one!
Though fear not, the handmade cards are still continuing with conviction! My Mum has even got on the band-wagon now and asked me to make a card for an elderly friends 90th birthday party that she went to the other day.
Just simply made by cutting 90 and a few flowers out of a scrap of fabric...and of course adding 'years young'! Happy birthday Muriel :-)
